Date: 15th February 2017
Time: 09.00 - 17.30
Location: UCL Roberts Building, London
Who is the Healthy Buildings Conference & Expo aimed at?
The conference is particularly aimed at architects, designers and product specifiers, but is highly relevant to building clients, policy makers and product suppliers. It should also appeal to anyone with an interest in understanding the relationship between buildings and human health.
What will the focus of the Healthy Buildings Conference & Expo?
- Expert speakers will address urgent occupants health issues such as overheating, moisture/mould, indoor air quality (IAQ) and how buildings can exacerbate the problem or provide a solution.
- New research will be presented that exposes the risks associated with harmful air in our homes and public buildings caused by dangerously high levels of volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde.
Why the ASBP?
The ASBP believe that building products have a considerable impact on the health of building occupants as well as on the natural environment and on the people/communities impacted by the manufacturing process. This conference will help delegates to conceive and design healthier buildings, and to maximise the opportunities associated with informed product selection
