FOXTROT Woodfibre Acoustic Underlay

FOXTROT is a superb acoustic underlay designed specifically to reduce the transfer of impact sound (running/footfall) through floating laminate, parquet or wooden floors. FOXTROT is a free floating sub floor suitable for commercial and domestic use. The main problem associated with wooden/laminate flooring is that when you walk on them a high degree of impact sound can be produced, which in turn can be an area of great distress for the people living below. FOXTROT is a wood fibre acoustic insulating underlay which reduces the transfer of impact sound on parquet and laminate floors by up to 19 dB. FOXTROT also possesses very effective thermal insulating qualities and high compression strength of up to 20 t/m²; which is important for click floor systems. It is resistant against chemical solvents and easy and quick to install.
FOXTROT also adjusts unevenness in the floor by up to 3 mm and is suitable for underfloor heating systems in combination with appropriate floor coverings. FOXTROT is ecological, environmentally friendly and fully recyclable. A damp proof course must be laid over the whole surface of all mineral bases before laying FOXTROT. In general FOXTROT must be protected from permanent dampness.
FOXTROT is produced in accordance to relative European standards and has also received the natureplus quality seal, which is the quality certificate for environmentally friendly, healthy, functional products for the construction sector. All types of load-distributing floor coverings such as laminate and sheet parquet can be directly laid on FOXTROT.
