Composition

In terms of construction physics, the product's properties are unique in providing the greatest effective variability of diffusion resistance under any climatic conditions, with an sd value ranging from 1.275MNs/g to over 51.0MNs/g.

As a result, in winter, when humidity pressure & humidity stress on the insulating system are at their greatest, the INTELLO vapour checks's water vapour transmission resistance of over 51.0MNs/g, protects the structural system from condensation.

Then, in summer, the product's high degree of openness to diffusion (water vapour transmission resistance of less than 1.275MNs/g) provides huge potential for drying out.

This capacity makes for highly reliable thermal insulation systems, even where these may be penetrated by unanticipated moisture as a result of extremely adverse conditions, for instance leakage, flank diffusion, or increased incorporation of humidity in timber building materials or insulating materials.

Thanks to its intelligent diffusion adjustment system, INTELLO is a true 'jack-of-all-trades', working efficiently with structural systems open to diffusion on the outside, as well as systems posing problems in terms of construction physics, such as flat roofs, grass roofs, roofs with diffusion-tight canopies & roofs with flexible metal sheeting.

In terms of construction physics, the variability of INTELLO's diffusion resistance adjusts depending on climatic conditions. This produces a reliable vapour check effect, with a water vapour transmission resistance of over 10MNs/g, even at a high atmospheric humidity of 65%.

An advantage of INTELLO in terms of use & workmanship is that it can be stretched taut, the sheet being dimensionally stable in normal building weather. The non-woven fabric's high resistance to withdrawal of nails provides for reliable laying and fixing in place.

INTELLO is also translucent & therefore very easy to install.
