    Can be fixed with small headed nails. The wood fibres in the gypsum provide a good hold for screw threads. No special fastenings required.

    Boards can be jointed using SASMOX jointing compound to produce seamless wall surfaces which can be painted, papered or tiled.

    Structure

    Structure

    Gypsum makes up approximately 83% of the weight of a SASMOX building panel, whilst the share of wood fibres is 15%. The moisture content of the panel is about 2% in normal conditions (RH 65%). The structure is based on the bond produced in the press between gypsum & wood fibres. No glue is used in the production. The panels do not contain asbestos & they do not emit substances hazardous to health.

    The entire SASMOX panel consists of wood & gypsum. The visible surface is dense, smooth & of light tone.
