Hemp Felts For Parquet & Laminate Floors
Needled hemp fleece can be used as a base for floating parquet & laminate floors. Hemp felts can be obtained in various widths & dimensions. Strips of hemp felts are also used as de-coupling strips, for partition walls & for all kinds of wood-on-wood laying.
Hemp-For-Stuffing
Hemp can be used for the joints between the batten &
the wall as well as for stuffing hollow spaces found at
windows & doors. This particular Hemp-for-stuffing
consists of pure, mechanically processed hemp fibres,
which are impregnated with 3-5% soda.
Airtight Seal & Accessories
A consistent, effective airtight seal can be achieved on the inside of the building by taping all overlaps of the vapour check and ensuring that all junctions are meticulously sealed to one another and to proximal structural components (See Airtightness Brochure, also available from Ecological Building Systems)
