In cold weather, many people struggle with a build-up of condensation in their homes. At low levels, this can be an annoyance, requiring you to wipe down the inside of windows regularly, but high levels of condensation within a house can cause more serious problems. Condensation can lead to peeling paint or wallpaper, and surfaces which are moist from condensation can also be an ideal environment for the growth of mould, which can pose serious health risks. It is also an indicator of poorly ventilated spaces, which in turn, can negatively impact indoor air quality and comfort level.
