In the heart of Kilrush, Co. Clare, a three-storey stone townhouse with a rich medical history has been carefully restored and upgraded, blending conservation and thermal performance. Designed by Architect Michael Keating and owned by a local chemist, this case study examines how derelict town centre properties can be reimagined as warm, comfortable homes—without losing their historical essence.
