Before installing internal wall insulation (IWI) in traditional buildings, it is essential to understand the significance of thorough preparation. The success of insulation does not just depend on the quality of the materials used but also on how well the walls are prepared beforehand. Proper preparation ensures that the insulation performs effectively over the long term, helping to prevent issues such as moisture accumulation, mould growth, and deterioration of the building's structure.
Whether the wall is insulated or not, a dry wall is always a warmer wall.
