What It Is
The System Calculator is our online tool designed to simplify early-stage project planning. Instead of selecting individual products in isolation, it guides users through a few simple questions about their project to build a complete wall, roof, floor or loft system. As each answer is selected, it instantly generates a system based on project requirements, including material quantities, costs and achievable U-values. Options can then be compared, making it easy to see how different choices affect performance and budget. Calculations can be saved to an account, assigned a project name, and returned to whenever needed.
What It’s Not
The System Calculator is a powerful planning aid. It is not a replacement for professional technical expertise. Every building is unique, and site-specific conditions, junctions and regulations still require specialist assessment. The tool helps you explore and compare options, and our technical team remains on hand to provide project-specific advice and final recommendations.
How to Use It
- Answer simple questions about the existing construction or planned build.
- Review the instant results: required products, estimated quantities, costs and achievable U-value.
- Adjust your answers to compare different configurations. See how changes in installation method, insulation thickness or system configuration affect the outcome.
- Save your calculation with a custom project name for easy reference, or if you are confident with the configuration and measurements simply add to basket to buy it.
