The role

Job Purpose

To deliver a high-quality technical support service in collaboration with the Technical Team, while generating and sustaining demand for the company’s range of ecological building products. The role includes key account management of existing and prospective customers across Ireland, with a particular focus on builders’ merchants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and develop relationships with builders’ merchants, helping to expand and strengthen our merchant network.
  • Provide technical sales advice and support to architects, surveyors, builders, contractors, homeowners and other stakeholders via phone, virtual meetings and on-site visits (including toolbox talks and site support).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your designated territory.
  • Stay up to date with relevant Building Regulations, legislation and technical developments relating to our product range, in collaboration with the Technical Team.
  • Deliver product education and technical guidance to our target audience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and project records (deals) within HubSpot CRM.
  • Identify and contribute relevant technical data and insights for our audience.
  • Attend technical meetings, internal meetings and other relevant company events.
  • Contribute to website content, including project case studies, product descriptions and blog articles. Monitor industry and competitor activity across digital platforms and suggest relevant content ideas.
  • Proactively monitor and follow up on technical and sales enquiries.
  • Provide both pre-sales and after-sales technical support.
  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions and trade events where required.

General Administration

  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries, ensuring a consistent and professional customer experience.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Liaise with head office and internal teams as necessary.
  • Arrange diary agenda, work-related travel and liaise where necessary with the office for accommodation arrangements.
  • Maintain organised records and documentation, both digital and paper-based.
