Part four of my Passive House Insulation series I provide basic principles and benefits of using Gutex Multitherm insualtion externally on my Passive House timber frame home. I also provide insight into the application of Gutex Thermofibre blown-in woodfibre between the timber studs and the importance of pre fitting Gutex Thermoflex flexible woodfibre insulation to the inaccessible areas before installing the blown-in insulation. The importance of using Solitex Fronta Humida over the outside of the Gutex Multitherm, when a block wall (outer leaf) will be on the outside of the construction is explained. The fixing method for the Gutex is also outlined in this video.
