Overview
The Adhero Floor Drain affectively helps drain water from CLT roof or floor surfaces that have been protected with Adhero 3000. It is used to quickly make a temporary vertical drain through roofs and floors during the construction phase.
Where to use it
The Adhero floor drain should be fitted into a 70mm hole in the ceiling or flat roof structure of a CLT building that has been weather protected with Solitex Adhero. It should be installed connected to a pipe or tube system to safely direct water out of the building.
What it does
The floor drain provides a temporary drainage point on flat roofs and floors.
When drainage pipes or tubes are connected to it and sealed with Tescon Vana or Tescon Rapic, it prevents pools of excess water to improve safety and fully protect the CLT from water damage.

Installation Guide
To prepare, make sure the area is clean, dry, and free of dust, debris, grease and silicone.
Select the lowest point of the floor and drill a hole through the Solitex Adhero membrane and CLT using a 70 mm hole saw. Remove all dust and debris then wipe the area clean.

Insert the drain from above, attach the pipe below and secure with a pipe clamp or cable tie. (Optional: screw into place). Then seal around the flange with Pro Clima Tescon Vana or Tescon Rapic tape – half on the drain and half on the membrane.

Use the Pressfix tool to press firmly on the tape. This ensures full contact and removes any bubbles.
Pour water over the drain and tape to confirm that there are no leaks.

When the project is near completion and the floor drain needs to be removed, cut the tape, lift the drain, and patch the hole with Solitex Adhero or a Tescon Vana Patch.
