The Old Bank, Edgeworthstown

The Doric porch and distinctive tall chimneystacks lend a classical feel this c.1915 purpose-built bank. Located in the Irish midlands, the building boasts impressive architectural features and can be found on the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage. The old solid stone walls of the bank were levelled with Lime Green Duro, a hydraulic lime undercoat, then insulated with Gutex woodfibre boards. Following this, two coats of Lime Green Solo were plastered onto the woodfibre boards to provide a smooth, breathable finish. The newly renovated building now serves the community as a co-working space.
