South Lanarkshire Newbuild Passive House

A stylish, timber-clad house built to Passive House standards, situated on a gently sloping site with a view of Southern Scotland.

Pro Clima Solitex Plus Connect windtight and breathable roofing membrane with self-adhesive edges, was used on the roof. Gutex Thermofibre blown-in wood fibre insulation was installed inside the panels. Gutex Multiplex Top waterproof and rain-tight wood fibre insulating sarking board was fitted to the panels.

Pro Clima Solitex Fronta WA is a vapour-permeable solid black breather membrane, and this was placed beneath closed cladding. Pro Clima Fronta Quattro was used beneath open-jointed cladding. Pro Clima Tescon Invis was applied to membrane joints in areas with open-jointed cladding.
