Where to use it

This Oil can be used on all clean, dry, grease free, absorbent woods. It can also be used on previously oiled surfaces which have been cleaned and given a light sanding. If it wasn’t Auro oil used previously we would recommend a test patch to ensure compatibility.

What it does

The Auro Garden Furniture Oil 102 protects garden furniture against weathering and provides a lovely colour which enhances the grain of the wood. It is available in 3 colours: Teak, Bankirai, Pigmented White.

How it works

Like any oil it protects the wood from the inside. When the oil is applied to wood the goal is to fill all the open pores with oil so therefore no water, dirt or grease can get in. It is a very simple method of protecting the wood and it makes renovation very simple – a light sanding and a new thin application of oil to any areas that need it will have it looking like new again. The Auro Garden Furniture Oil is breathable which means it will not trap moisture and the oil will not flake.

Hint and tips

It is important not to crumple up cloths with oils on them as they could spontaneous combust. Instead cloths should be spread out and allowed to dry and when dry they can be reused again or disposed of in the household waste.

A test application is recommended as colour tones can vary depending on the type of wood it is applied to.
