Product Overview

Main purpose

Breathable white lime-based paint suitable for interior use. Highly alkaline natural mould preventing paint.

Use it on

Internal surfaces onto plaster, concrete, lime-sand bricks, loam, gypsum plasterboard, woodchip, mineral paints, and over conventional plastic paints.

Overview

Auro Mineral Paint 344 is a high-quality lime paint suitable for interior use. Made from purely mineral ingredients, it contains zero harmful VOCs, and can be used on many different surfaces, including over conventional plastic paints. Due to its high alkalinity and breathability, it is particularly resistant to mould.

Where to use it

This can be used internally on plaster, concrete, lime-sand bricks, loam, gypsum plasterboard, woodchip, and mineral paints.

What it does

Its lime base ingredients and high alkalinity (pH<12) means it inhibits mould growth, absorbs odours and allows moisture vapour to pass through its surface unhindered.

How it works

The paint is translucent when wet and opaque after coating. Auro Mineral Lime Paint 344 can be overcoated several times and has a matt appearance with a typically chalky character. Although it comes in white, it can be tinted for interior use with Auro Lime tinting base No. 350. Please contact us if you are interested in tinted Auro Mineral Lime Paint 344.

Why we love it

Auro Mineral Lime Paint 344 is organic, vegan-friendly and produced from ecologically sourced raw ingredients. It is highly moisture-vapour permeable (sd value: < 0.05 m) and provides a pleasant climate in the room. Being a lime paint, which is purely mineral, it inhibits mould growth. The paint is virtually odourless, contains zero harmful VOCs and is free from plastic. The paint can be applied quickly and evenly with a brush or roller, or Airless Sprayer, e.g., with Storch Airless equipment SL1000, SL1500, or similar.
