The Green Register - Airtightness: Putting Theory into Practice Session 4 of 4

Airtightness in detail for designers and builders.

Following the successful launch of this series of airtightness events last year, we're pleased to again provide this essential and popular training, consisting of four events running every Wednesday in October, in partnership with The Green Register. The series will cover all aspects of airtightness with each session lasting 2 hours and these can be attended individually or as a whole.

Description

In the fourth and final session of the airtightness series, we will concentrate on real-world application. The Ecological trainers will guide participants through hands-on installation videos demonstrating techniques, optimum application methods and suitable remedies for each junction. We will also cover common site challenges including overcoming common mistakes, intermediate airtightness testing, site conditions, substrate preparation, co-ordination and communication between trades and planning/sequencing in site.

Special guest speaker, Alex Burn from 4Site Engineering & Construction, who proved to be hugely popular when he spoke at last years event, will then share his own first hand on-site experience as a contractor challenged with achieving airtightness on a retrofit project during his presentation titled 'Putting Theory into Practice'.
